It was an honour for my wife Carole and me to be asked to judge this very special day, in fact weekend. Thanks to our stewards, the comitte and of couse exhibitors.
The quality of the dogs was also super, better then we expected and could match Bull Terriers anywhere in other countries.
In the trophy the dog which took our eye was KEVIN DI LORD GLADIATOR, a beautiful madE dog in tip top condition, in perfect harmony with his handler and moved well both ways. His head was strond and well finished, perfect mouth, short backed and very hard to fault.
Our second was a fovourite of mine from here in England, CH. ARICON EYE IN THE SKY, a heavyweight masculine dog with a super profile, his conditioning and balance were not as good as the first on day, but I´m sure he will have his day. Our third was Ch. KEARBY´S JONAH AT ARICON, another big heavyweight dog with a super head and heavy bone. Didn´t move as two but in tip top condition. He did not show himself off to his best advantage but he filled my eye with his power. Another dog we were taken with was CH. GUEVARAS VOM URZENDAL, a quality well balanced dog, super head and expression, still imature, be looking forward to the next trophys I bet, when he should be ready to take on best again.
When it came to choose the trophy winning bitch and the best overall, i and my wife both loved GRACE PAJAR, as the overall winner. A super headed bitch with a perfect mouth, straight front, well balanced with heavy bone, well sprung ribs. I would taken her home. Also the runner up bitch CHANTAL PAJAR, a little lighter that the winner but a very showy girl. with beautiful body shape and super head. Our thosd was another top quality girl wit a super head CH. Mc COY´ S ROMANTIC WHITE GIRL. Beautiful body shape with plenty of substance and bone a very showy girl, well handled.
